Hot Air Balloon Rides – Orlando, Florida
To see the area in a view that many would envy you really should consider taking a hot air balloon ride over Disney and the Orlando area. The view will be stunning and the memories last a lifetime.
The direction the balloon will take depends on the direction of the wind but will be someplace from Disney to Highway 192 and Highway 27 giving you a great overview of the area.
Most of the hot air balloon rides are about an hour long, it could vary depending on the weather so some may be 45 minutes with others as long as 1 hour and 45 minutes.
You will want to be dressed like you were taking a hike in the woods. It really isn’t any cooler in the balloon than it is on the ground so dress according to the weather but DO NOT wear opened toed shoes.
Bring your camera to get some stunning shots of the area or your camcorder to record the experience but don’t be so dedicated to taking pictures or videos that you don’t see it first hand.
You will be given the thrill of going from tree top heights to several thousand feet; it all depends on the wind speed and direction.
You won’t get motion sickness on the flight since the balloon moves with the wind there is none of the sensation of movement.
On your flight you will be able to see many of the sites of the area from Orange, Osceola, Lake and Polk Counties and see the wildlife of the area from way up in the sky!
The balloons fly with up to 4 people plus the pilot but larger groups can be accommodated with more balloons.
Kids are welcome to go with you but they must be at least 4" tall to be able to see over the side of the basket.
There are a number of balloon companies in the area for you to choose from so enjoy your experience, find the one that offers all that you would like to include from champagne to brunch after the flight or a more basic style. Perhaps it is for a birthday, wedding or some other special event; the companies will be able to make your day super special!
