Besides being a racing capital there is much more to do in Daytona Beach.  You can take a Banana Boat Ride that will certainly give you something to tell your friends about.  The 25 minute ride will have you laughing and holding on in the boat that seats up to 8 people.

You can enjoy canoeing on Cracker Creek, parasailing is also something that will be a great deal of fun for those that are brave enough to try it.  Maybe you want to learn to surf while you are here, there are schools available for you to sign up for and begin the life of a surfer!

Maybe you just want to lie on the beach and soak up the sun.  The beaches are beautiful and welcome you to enjoy the peace of the surf and the sun.

Marineland – Dolphin Conservation Center is the perfect place to have personal interaction between dolphins and yourself. There are interactive programs for nearly all ages.  The center is open everyday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (weather permitting) so take some time to visit, you’ll be glad you did.

Being a beach community means that the people are friendly and the hospitality warm so include Daytona Beach on your Florida vacation even at times of the year when the Daytona Speedway isn’t the primary focus.
